Our Visionaries
A FAMILY TRADITION
In the late 1970’s, the Askerow family founded the generational company, concentrating on custom furniture. The family became pioneers in the trade between the Canadian government and Asia. They established enduring partnerships with leading Asian factories, which enabled them to expand the manufacturing expertise across multiple markets.
Following considerable success in Canada, the family expanded operations into the United States, partnering with hotel general contractor Sam Shehadeh. This collaboration led to the formation of TCG, a company specializing in custom furniture for the hospitality industry. Two of the Askerow sons continue the family tradition in manufacturing, maintaining the relations and partnerships with the factories that were cultivated by their parents.
